Reflections
of the Waterside ... throughout the generations
Once in a Blue Moon Opportunity gam & cairn-building |

The
Waterside movement was launched in a Motion of Comity in the month of
February1999 ~ between blue moons in January and March.1
Thereafter, major benchmarks in the Waterside Plan in Motion were marked
as Once in a Blue Moon opportunities2.
It followed that a new generation of the Waterside would be marked with
the blue moon of July 31, 2004 ~ (which coincidentally fell on the opening
day of Yankee Homecoming). This proved opportune for Lord Timothy Dexter to fulfill his prophesy that from time to time he may come back "toue see houe you all goue on" ~ and the perfect opportunity to assess where we have been, where we are and wherer we are going. As such, an afternoon "gam" and cairn-building (to signify that we had come this far) was in order.3 |

At exactly two bells of the Afternoon Watch ~ Jonathan Plummer & spiritualist Madam Hooper introduce Lord Tim for the Once in a Blue Moon Opportunity community gam, July 31, 2004. ~ held in a Motion of Comity with Yankee Homecoming. |
His Lordship hears himself beckoned as two bells are rung ~ which of course is the nautical way of timekeeping on board ship (see link without). |
And then it's time to chime in with Dan Cleary & Chuck Wright ~ who later perform along with Al Maguire as Moments In Time . This triad will bring momentum to the 2006 communitys gam~ which promises to be a whale of a good time. (See link within for that gam's roster and more images.). |

Lord Tim gathers with the younger generation of the Waterside people at a favorite setting on the waterfront ~ the special place where we can see our tomorrows dawn. (See prior earlier reflection of Dexter probing for rocks, bricks, ballast & other finds at this site at this link within). Captain Ray Pike looks on & forward. |
Dexter takes this Once in a Blue Moon opportunity to indoctrinate more of the Knowing Ones, one by one. It proved an opportunity to reflect upon where we have been, where we are and where we would like to be when next we meet ~ as individuals & as a community. |
Suggesting that each one find a special stone to add to the cairn ~ .Lord Tim shares and compares the stones, some indigenous, some obviously ballast from ship's sailing from distant ports ~ and some bits of the brick mentioned on the generations foundation monument. (See previous folio.) |
