To the mind-traveling reader who has happed upon this Comity.org webpage ~ or to those who have previously bookmarked this URL to review recordings of the reggae Latin-rock band Among Criminals in concert at Newburyport's Market Landing Park on October 21, 2007 ~ some explanation is in order.

For a period of time, this Comity.org webpage offered fourteen select video clips of that Among Criminals' event recorded via a single mic camcorder. These included the band performing six songs from their first album "Kill the Myth" © 2007 AMONG CRIMINALS ("Killin' Is Killin'," "Fool," "Ghost" and "Step Back" (in medley), "I See" (with percussion jam) and "Cold Soldier") ~ as well as two songs from Ryan Gaughan's s earlier solo album "Beautiful Imperfections" © 2002/2004 ("Angel" and "Drowning"). And also captured some earlier renditions of a handful of songs ("Fire," "Barehanded Hitman," "Last Bullet," "Verdict" and "Don't Tell Us") that were destined for Among Criminals' next album ~ recording of which was to be begin with the new (Gregorian) calendar year 2008. (There were also three clips capturing Ryan Gaughan engaging the audience in "conversation" during the concert.)

As posted (and posited) on the amongcriminals.com website forum (see this link without) ~ when further refining those (and other) songs during studio recording ~ it was decided to distill the Waterside concert to a sample of the six clips ~ and then, as the band wrapped up their national tour, to remove the old video clips in anticipation of newer recordings.

Additional recordings of the band's live performances during their next tour, which will include several engagements hear and near to the Waterside (see link within for details) will be made available in the future. And take note that their new album "Happy History" © 2008 AMONG CRIMINALS released this spring and is now available (along with their first album, "Kill the Myth") at the band's MySpace webpage ~ as well as at this CDbaby.com link without.
